Setting up insurance in your LateShipment account

This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on setting up insurance in a Late Shipment account.


Step 1: Navigate to Shipping Insurance.
Step 2: Ensure access to the ecommerce stores. Under Select Store, choose the appropriate store. In this guide, we're using Shopify.

Step 3: Proceed to the Shopify account. Navigate to Settings, then Apps and Sales Channels.
Step 4: Select Develop Apps.

Step 5: Click on Create an App to create a new app.
Step 6: Name the app "Late Shipment" and click Create App.

Step 7: In the new window, click Configure Admin API Scopes.

Step 8: Set the following permissions: Read Access, Prod X, and Broad X.

Step 9: Grant access to Orders, Assigned Fulfillment Orders, Merchant Managed Fulfillment Orders, and Third Party Fulfillment Orders.
Step 10: After setting the permissions, click Save.

Step 11: Install the app by clicking Install App.
Step 12: Reveal the token by clicking Reveal Token once and copy the Admin API Access Token.
Step 13: Return to the Late Shipment account and paste the copied token.

Step 14: Go back to Shopify, scroll down, and copy the API Key and API Secret Key.

Step 15: Paste these keys into the Late Shipment account.

Step 16: Copy the Store URL.

Step 17: Paste the copied URL into the Late Shipment account and click Submit.


The account setup is now complete.
