Creating Text Message Journeys in Attentive

This tutorial explains the process of creating text message journeys in Attentive.


Start by finding your way to the journeys section.

Step 1: Click on Create Journey.

Step 2: Choose to start from scratch.

Step 3: Decide on the trigger for the journey. In this instance, select LS late shipment order out for delivery.
Step 4: Proceed by clicking on Get Started.

 

Now, it's time to set up the text message action and personalize the message.

Step 1: Use drag and drop to place the text message action.

Step 2: Give your message a name and fill in the message content.

Remember, some elements, like the tracking link and order number, populate dynamically.

Step 3: To include dynamic elements, navigate to add personalization.
Step 4: Click on triggering event.

Step 5: Select the triggering event. For this example, opt for tracking link and order number.

Here's the preview page, displaying how customers will receive the text.
Consider enabling quiet hours to avoid disturbing customers during certain times.
Feel free to add an image or create a GIF if you'd like.
Once you're satisfied, click on save.

 

To make the journey active, click on turn on. This changes the journey status from draft to live.
